I’m so sorry that we haven’t responded yet. We have been busy because our teddy is now in another school, but I promise we will keep in touch!
Sunny regards from Bruna 4A.
Hi Bruna and Australian friends!
We have to send some exciting posts to S:t Peters Primary School next week. What about our city Malmö? Or do you want to compare our ”everyday life” in school? What do you think?
Best regards
Barbro (teacher)
Hej Bruna och australiensiska vänner!
Vi måste skicka några spännade inlägg till S:t Peters Primary School i nästa vecka. Ska vi berätta om vår stad Malmö? Eller ska vi jämföra våra skolvardagar? Vad tycker du? eller ni?
Hälsningar Barbro
Hello Everyone!
My name is Erika and I go to school at St Peter’s Primary in Australia. Our school is very different to yours but we are similiar in some ways. We have school uniforms and we are expected to be at school before 8:45 am which is when the first bell rings. Our school also provides a ‘before school care’ which people who arrive earlier stay but your parents will need to pay for it. At about 8:55am we do meditation which is sitting in silence reflecting on our day and relaxing. After that we start school work.
Our school activites include Maths, English, Science, Inquiry, Sport, Library, Drama, Art, Religion, History, Computers and Italian (From Prep to Year 4).
We have two different breaks which are snack and lunch and they are both forty minutes long. We are also allowed to have a fruit snack whenever we want as long as we ask the teacher first and keep working as we eat.
We have inter-school sport (summer and winter) which is when we play against other schools in the district. At the end of the season the top four teams play against each other to win first.
From time to time our school makes a causal clothes day with a sausage sizzle, hotdog or sushi. I hope this gives you an idea about our school.

Dear Nadin,
Weather in Australia can be really hot, or really cold. Where we live, the weather is always on and off.
If your not used to it you would think it is pretty weird!
